Missing you

My mother in law died last week and my Husband and youngest son have traveled back up North for the funeral, i sadly have had to stayed behind here in Cornwall as my oldest is taking his G C S E's. I miss them both already and feel sad that I can't be there with them on this sad occasion. 

Goodbye Grandma

We got an unexpected call on Sunday to say that my husbands mum, my boys grandma had sadly passed away.  We no longer live in the Northwest of England now as we moved to Cornwall 3 years ago.
We of course are all very upset, my husband and youngest son will be travelling up North next week for the funeral, unfortunately the funeral has fallen in the middle of my eldest sons exams so we will be staying here, it was a difficult decision but we feel it is the right one and one that I feel she would have understood.

Lizard

Just got back from the lizard, had a lovely 5 day break there staying on two camp sites.

The day that we found out news that will at some point change our lives.

New Family member

I must be mad but at 47 I decided to add to our family, yes that's right on Saturday I brought home a 2.5kg boy Dalmatian x collie puppy called Alfie.

We are in are forever home now I hope, we have a new addition to the family, we love the place we live and are looking forward to the coming year.

Today me and Jules went out picking Blackberries along the coastal path




Once we got home we made the most delicious blackberry and apple pie which we had today with custard and tomorrow again with ice cream can't wait.
